I DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE anticipano il loro nuovo album [LISTEN]

Nel video di presentazione del nuovo tour, la band di Ben Gibbard ha anticipato alcune tracce del nuovo album, presumibilmente in uscita ad agosto 2018.

I Death Cab for Cutie sono tornati. Ben Gibbard e compagni non solo hanno annunciato che stanno per intraprendere un nuovo Tour, ma lo hanno fatto pubblicando un video che ha come colonna sonora alcune delle tracce che faranno parte del loro nuovo album. Il trailer termina in maniera abbastanza esplicativa, con una foto del gruppo e la dicitura “August 2018” che non lascia adito a dubbi. Oltre ai soliti noti Ben Gibbard (voce, chitarra, piano), Nick Harmer (basso), e Jason McGerr (batteria), si sono aggiunti in pianta stabile come membri effettivi anche due musicisti che da tempo andavano in tour con la band: Dave Depper (chitarra, tastiere) e Zac Rae (tastiere, chitarra). Il loro ultimo album, Kintsugi, era stato pubblicato nel 2015. Lo scorso anno i Death Cab for Cutie hanno celebrato il loro ventennale pubblicando la registrazione del loro primo concerto.
